About the Event
CUTC Montreal 2026: TRANSFORM
Canada's Largest Undergraduate Tech Conference — May 30, Montreal
🎟️ Toronto (May 23) → luma.com/cutc26tor
🎟️ Montreal (May 30) → luma.com/cutc26mtl
You've been to conferences. You haven't been to CUTC.
Founded in 1999, the Canadian Undergraduate Technology Conference is Canada's largest undergraduate tech conference. And it's nothing like the events you've sat through before.
This isn't sit-in-a-seat, stare-at-slides, leave-with-a-lanyard.
CUTC is where 500+ of the most ambitious students, builders, creators, and future founders in Canada collide for a single day of high-energy talks, real conversations, hands-on collaboration. And at least one surprise experience you won't see coming 👀
Ideas turn into projects here. Strangers turn into collaborators. Inspiration turns into action.
May 30. Montreal. Be there.

⚡ Theme: TRANSFORM
We're living through the most significant technological transformation of our generation.
CUTC 2026 is built around three questions:
→ How is AI reshaping every industry, right now, in real time? → Who is building what comes next and how did they get there? → How do you evolve from learner → builder → leader?
The word "transformer" isn't just an AI architecture. It's a mindset. Come ready to be changed.
🏛️ About CUTC
25 years. Canada's largest. Student-run. Non-profit.
CUTC was founded in 1999 by a group of students who believed that the best opportunities shouldn't be gatekept by geography, pedigree, or price. That belief hasn't changed.
Our alumni are now founders of venture-backed startups, PMs at major tech companies, engineers building the tools you use every day, and investors shaping Canada's tech ecosystem. Past speakers have included Chamath Palihapitiya, Mike Lazaridis (founder of BlackBerry), and Michael Katchen (founder of Wealthsimple).
When you attend CUTC, you join that legacy.

🚀 What Makes CUTC Different
Most conferences are passive. You sit, you listen, you scroll, you leave.
CUTC is built to pull you in:
Talks that feel like real conversations, not rehearsed keynotes
Sessions where you actually build, create, and collaborate
Energy and movement woven throughout the entire day
Sponsor booths with companies who are here to hire you, not just collect resumes
Food included so you never have to leave the experience to grab a bite
A community that outlasts the event itself
The people you meet on May 30 might be your future co-founders, collaborators, or first hires. That's not marketing copy. That's what actually happens here.
